TERMITE AND OTHER WOOD DESTROYING ORGANISMS (WDO)

Termites feed on wood. The wood of your home or business. Typically are white soft bodied insects. There are two species of termites: the dry wood termites and the subterranean termites. Termites that have wings indicate they are reproductive termites. The termites live in colonies. The queen is responsible for laying eggs to sustain the colony’s growth and survival.

There are many different termite control methods. Unfortunately there is no "One-for-All" way to effectively treat and control termites. Just the type of termite itself will dictate the technique and material used to control an infestation. Home construction and extent of infestation are a major factor as well.

Think you may have an investation? Here is what to look for.

  • Frass - Termite Droppings
  • Wood That Sounds Hollow
  • Discarded Wings
  • Buckling and/or Warped Wood
  • Mud Tubes on Exterior
